Got the US Bank Cash+ in late March with plans to get the Altitude Connect Visa Signature card.
How long should I wait between applications? Is there a hard and fast rule?
For me, time between my first card (cash+) and AR was 2 months.
3 card (Altitude Go) a little under 2 years from AR, 4th card (Connect) happened 8 months after the third.
No idea how it would work for you, but that's how it happened for me.
Extremely helpful. Thank you!
Good luck with your application.
Please update if you decide to go for it, there aren't that many DPs on multiple US Bank cards
Pulled the trigger. Got instantly approved albeit a low starting limit - $2,000.
Had some debt I carried over so Experian score dipped to 728. They pulled Experian.
Inq - 2/24
Util: 8%
Total CL: $156,400
Applied for US Bank card in March 2022.

Congrats! I know you may not be pleased with the limit, but that SUB is good and it should hold you over till the increase
I was approved for Connect in February ($5000.00 runt approval) with 7 new(ish) accounts. I put some spend on it, they offered $0.00 fee ExtendPay plan which I also took to keep card alive without having to remember to use it, and I asked for increase on 08/01 (card wasn't even open for full six months, got $5000 SP increase).
So just use your card, wait six months and ask for increase. Requests always have HP language, but it can be either.
I'm going to lock this thread now that you've been approved, feel free to start an approval thread if you wish to do so.
