I just received my new US Bank Altitude GO card in the mail, and after reading a recent DP from another member who had success in getting a CLI on the same day they received the card I decided to request a CLI as soon as I got the card due to the measly $1,000 SL I was approved for. What is interesting is that I was expecting a HP, but they pulled TU for the CLI request-however my initial application HP was through EQ. Win lose or draw I am gardening for quite some time after this one, but for those of you thinking about CLIs from US Bank might be helpful to know that they can HP from TU. The result would likely the same as both have the same amount of recent inquiries (1/6, and 2/12).
@DivideByZero So, did they give you the CLI? You didn't mention...
It is pending... The other member who did it last week said it took a couple days and he did not receive any notification, it just showed up as a higher limit when he logged in. I will update either way when I get a result, I just found it interesting.

I tried to request a credit limit for my wifes Altitude Reserve card. She had a SL of 10k which is the lowest limit out of all her cards. Her cards start as low as 20k and high as 50k. She got the card in March and put in a limit increase request online on June and it got denied. Letter said account is still new. They ran TU. We were putting around 5k on her 10k limit card. That's why I requested a limit increase so soon. US Bank shouldn't have the limit increase option if it's too soon to ask. Kinda sucks to get hit with hard pull for nothing.
The best time to request a USB CLI is to call while the app is pending. I called on the Cash+ and when told I was approved for $9k I asked for 15k. And the card arrived with a 15K limit. A year ago did the same with the AG and the rep ASKED me if 10k was good enough. Half joking I requested 25k and sure enough.

Yeah, my wife should have done that with her Citi Wayfair card. 6k is a joke based on her 800+ ficos throughout. But she is too nice to do that.

Is the decision still pending or did you finally hear something back @DivideByZero?
They automatically denied, reason it was less than 6 months . Seems like the other member got lucky.
