I noticed that the Altitude Go email ads have a confirmation code. Do we know if it makes a difference as far as applying goes? Or is like the Citi offers and purely ads?

Tell me how many new accounts you have in the past year, what your aggregate utilization is, and highest utilization on individual card is, and I might be able to tell you if it's just marketing .
I have received one of those, it has a code, but until end of November, I'm the antithesis of the customer they want.
In my case, pure marketing

What if I park $500 in a savings account for 3 months?
Also forgot I added new auto loan and CLOC.

You'll be in a relationship but without a card. At least they will address you with "Valued customer" and will keep pushing investments .
Kinda like a love story except with card in friend zone.
