So I closed my Carlson Rewards with the 10k CL and then applied for the Radisson Rewards. Initial decline went to recon still have not heard back after one week so I called and had them reopen the Carlson card. I want to stay in with US bank regardless as I will eventually go for some of their other products. I should have waited before closing the Carlson however no harm no foul.Yeah, i don't see closing one till you get the other one at least. The Cash+ is the only card they have that is on my radar, so hopefully soon i'll have that. Sit back and garden for a long long time.
I’m glad it wasn’t an instant denial. I’ll keep my fingers crossed until Friday. 😂
I double checked opening a checking account and that’s still a no in my area, but they do let me do the easy savings account. I might try that. How long was your savings open?

I saw one guy on here got a Cash+ and 5 days later got the AR from them. I guess it doesnt take long, but he had much better profile than I. Sadly, a single APR pre-app from USB isnt like a pre-app from Amex or Disco. i'm still just as much waiting on the fence ATM.

Good luck, Jago! Crossing my toes for you!!
Thanks, i may need it..
I am not touching this one till i see my sagestream report and decide if it needs to be frozen
Basically, if you dont have enough information on you, you get a bad score (info not normally found on CR).
If they do dig up some dirt, also a negative.
As an example, if you dont have a landline and use prepaid cell phone, they consider that a negative because info is not available to them
No cable...tough luck, negative
No info on how you pay your power bill...negative
Traffic ticket...negative
Everything they dont have info on is a negative.
You can be 850 across all three and have terrible score with sagestream because they failed to collect info on whether you wash your hands after potty use.
I'm freezing this one
(I do wash my hands...mostly)
Freezing IDA/Sagestream and/or ARS will result in an automatic denial from U.S. Bank.

Having a 300 score with Sagestream will get you denied, too.
Based on what I've read here, if those are frozen, application may be manually reviewed (if a computer deems you worthy of review) , it wont be auto approved
Considering how many of their apps are manually reviewed, I'd rather take a chance with a human being
My IDA/Sagestream and/or ARS have been frozen since the EQ breach and I got approved for the USB Caxh+ a few days ago. They pulled TU and gave me a 14.4k SL.
I went the Gold Checking acct route and have had accts with them for more than 10+ yrs
