Yeah, i don't see closing one till you get the other one at least.    The Cash+ is the only card they have that is on my radar, so hopefully soon i'll have that.   Sit back and garden for a long long time.

I double checked opening a checking account and that’s still a no in my area, but they do let me do the easy savings account. I might try that. How long was your savings open?

I'm not sure a single APR with USB is a pre-approval the more i read up on it.  The longer it goes the more anxious i get.  i'm so used to either instant approval or denial, not this we have underwriters look at it and get back to you.   not sure if the longer is a good sign?  i dont have much EXP with USB and Cash+

Still waiting..   no email or online msg, not calling til tomorrow, but not a denial yet either so i hope thats a good sign?   nerve racking tho.

I apped for the same card with very similar scores last week. Also waiting to hear back. Was told I should know by this coming Monday. Hopefully we both get good news.

Yeah, i hope you do as well.   I just called and was told its still processing, that it was sent to a different place for verification and that takes 3-5 bus days.   So i guess i'll wait till tues/wed and see whats up.   at this point, i'm not sure if its declined and they just are buying time till the letter gets to me so they dont have to say it over the phone, or they really are that busy and its taking forever.   I've never waited this long for a yes or no, so guess we'll see.

That's almost exactly what they told me verbatim. Today marks a week from when I applied. I think if they had already declined the app, the automated system would say so. Or maybe that's just what I'm telling myself 🤷‍♂️
