True. But if OP's profile is thick enough and like 5+ years AAoA then I think he/she is safe enough and can withstand any SP AR from Chase just as long as the USB is the only one that's gonna show up in the next 60-90 days.
@FieryDance pull the trigger now while you have the best shot or for one year hold your peace.
Good Luck and keep us posted!

On credit reports as of today: 0/6, 0/12, 4/24
Once the new cards show up: 2/6, 2/12, 6/24
EX: 828, 2/6, 3/12, 8/24
EQ: 820, 2/6, 3/12, 5/24
TU: 822, 0/6, 2/12, 4/24
Given the stats, how likely can I squeeze out an approval from US Bank in the next few days?
Agree that going for it is a good bet, @FieryDance. It still sounds like our taste in cards is very similar since this one is on my list too, besides our recent conversations about Bank of America. I think the biggest risk is not from your stats but how unpredictable many lenders are since coronavirus. The previous guidelines may or may not still be pertinent. Overall though, I see no reason to hold back.
Good luck and keep us informed!

Only a few days ago, and I totally agree with you regarding Chase. I am right now doing research about possible AA from Chase if I pull the trigger. Would not want to antagonize Chase at this juncture.

We certainly seem to have similar taste in cards. I read up about USB Altitude Reserve and Go but think the Cash+ fits my spending better, for now.
You are absolutely right about the COVID making everything unpredictable and right now my biggest question has shifted from how likely is an approval from USB to how likely is AA by Chase. I don't want to lose my new cards!
Good luck if you decide to apply

You haven't recently apped for other cards so I myself wouldn't be worried about a Cash+ app/approval, unless the result of the MDD was to pick up 2 Sapphire cards (is that specific MDD loophole still viable? Haven't kept tabs on that in a while) where you're lining yourself up to collect 2 x SUBs.
I applied for the US Bank Cash + at the beginning of June after having gotten an approval for the Amazon Chase Visa a few weeks earlier - both ended up pulling Experian (I'm in Southern California) and they obviously saw the inquiry from Chase but the account hadn't reported yet. At the time my scores were similair to yours but probably a tad lower - in the 805-810 range and I was approved for $5k starting limit.
Prior to these two cards my newest revolving tradeline was over 2 years old.
oh I am intrigued. did you apply?

I did not.
After more research I decided to err on the side of caution and play nice. 😇
I do still want to get in with US Bank and the Cash+ and this thread confirmed USB likes 0/6 and 0/12. My backup plan is my husband will be 0/6, 0/12, 2/24 in 2 months and I will task him with this app. His scores are only slightly lower but he has higher AAoA and fewer cards and HPs so hopefully US Bank will like his profile.
Back in 2018 I was lol/24 and US Bank approved me, but for a toy limit. A year later I got a second US Bank card, of course still at lol/24. That reminds me, time to ask for my annual increase. My new chase card was shut down, of course, in flight.
