US Bank Email Pre Selected Offer **Update: Approved 1 month later**

Interesting. I received a pre-approval offer through the mail for the US Bank cash 365 card (0% interest for 12 months on BT, $100 statement credit). I've never had a pre approval offer from US Bank and I've banked with them for years. It contained an exact interest rate so I guess it's legit. I'm thinking I'm going to just skip it.

I appd for US Bank Club Carlson Premier Visa on September 21st and went "7 - 10 day pending" message. I assumed a denial, but today, exactly ten days later, I got the "Welcome to Club Carlson Premier Visa" email, and I see the account added to my US Bank online accounts. No idea my CL, but hoping being a Signature Visa, it's at least 5K. It doesn't show online (CL) I guess as I haven't received the card or activated it yet.
My only other US Bank account is a 1K secured Visa I opened with them almost 2 years ago. I was hoping that would've graduated by now, but it hasn't. I was hesitant to even app for this Club Carlson but I stay at the Radisson several times a week and figured I could really get some benefits from having this card.

MILO, I originally started my credit rebound in Jan 2015 with a 2K secured Wells Fargo visa, 1K US Bank visa, and a 1K USAA secured Amex. I also took out a 3K secured Wells Fargo personal loan and opened a checking and savings account with them too. Wells Fargo automatically unsecured me about the one year mark. US Bank is still secured, but now approved me for this Club Carlson Premier Visa. USAA will never unsecure, you just need to apply for one of their products after some time. I've got plenty of cards now from Chase, Citi, Amex, Cap One, SDFCU, and other's and will get around to closing both the US Bank and USAA secured cards soon. I never use um anymore.

Yea didn't want to do it that way ...but may try app for non secure CC ...at us bank...and have them close secured out😵bummer
