No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
My wife has one Chase card (CSP) and FICO scores in the 830's. She regularly receives several " You're Already Approved" offers for multiple cards, both main in-house and affiliates.
In the latest offers yesterday, it included both the CFU and Flex. The difference was that they also included the SL for each (same amt per card). When she applied for the CFU, it gave the 7-10 day "needs further review" message. Has anyone seen this? Seems as though the "Already Approved" would get an immediate approval and the SL would cement it.
BTW, once she applied for the CFU all other offers went away.
Likely a fraud check if was already approved or check mark type of page saying pre-approved. You can certainly call UW/Fraud of chase dept. if you want to expedite your curiosity and get it cleared up vs. waiting a few days or possibly more for a letter to arrive to you. The Chase UW/Fraud # respectively is pinned in the Sticky section of this sub-forum under backdoor numbers on page 1 and thread 1.
Thanks, makes sense. I'll wait, no rush here. Just wanted to share with the group as it seemed unusual.
How soon after applying did the other offers disappear? I wonder if in the future it is possible to apply for 2 cards to only get 1 pull at a time.

No way of knowing for sure what the future will bring but it's pretty unlikely that Chase will do that any time soon. Requests for credit whether new account or limit increase trigger a hard pull and they do not reuse them.
All of the credit card offers went away immediately after the 7-10 daynotice appeared. My original plan was to get her the FCU and then go back and get the Flex to combine the limits in the future.
It was just a fraud verification as CreditCuriosity said. My wife got approved after a verification phone call. Thanks for the replies!
