UPDATE:

OK I CALLED IN TO RECON:

I told them one of the inquiries was from first Tech for just Membership and they were just my 2nd inquiries. She asked why I wanted the card.  I told her We were going to taiwan and wanted to use it for the no international transaction fees. I also told her how much I had researched different CU's and how theirs stood out(just piling on the a$$ kissing) lol.  She said well all that sounds reasonable so I will approve u for 10k.  I told her I just denied accepting a 10k card from another CU because It's not enough when traveling to Taiwan for 2 months. So she bumped to 15k(2 sec to get 5k more) lol. Well this is where the fun starts. As mentioned before 806EX and less than 1% utilization and she requested 3 years of complete tax returns, 3 years of w-2's, 5 weeks of POI, DRIVERS LICENSE,  MULTIPLE Proof of residence, send most in Screen shots or images.  Days later got email stating everything needed to be in PDF format. So converted everything.  A week goes by and finally for 15k Card sent out. So recon work u just better be ready with a story to tell them that make sense. Lol

I applied for low APR Unify FCU Card and it immediately went in to review status.  Which was surprising since I have ex 806 eq 822 and tu 819.  Plenty of income and utilization of 1%. I called today after pending for 2days.  I was told it was denied due to excessive inquiry LOL.  I have 3 inquiries in past 6 months and 1 of them was UNIFY FCU.  I asked rep what do you mean excessive and was told that if you have more than 1 inquiry in past 6 months that is what they consider excessive.  I an assuming they mean 1 inquiry in addition to theirs, lol. Ridiculous,  so if you have any inquires do not apply here. Waste of time.

I was approved with bunch of credit inquires reporting. They required me to send paystubs and bank statements. I went in branch and the banker got bank statements waived. You can try talking to a banker and see if they can help. My credit limit is stuck at $5K since they do hard pull.

The rate is 5.49 for 6 months and then it goes to 9.49. A great rate if one can get it.

Re: Unify FCU Denial with 806 experian

I have tried twice for unify over the last 12 months. Each time it got denied, even with an appeal to a VP that helper me overcome them misplacing my membership application.

They have changed for sure. They are friendly though bit it pretty much ends there.

Unify, aod and secu are all on my chopping block for membership. I find it is a dead end with these three.

Re: Unify FCU Denial with 806 experian

I don't think I included this earlier in list of items requested.  They also requested 3 month of ALL Bank(s) records. (UNIFY)
