I was approved for mine a month ago and didn't have to provide any of those docs. All they did was verify some things with me over the phone and the whole process from app to approval only took a couple of days. Them wanting those docs must be based on scores and/or overall profiles and income. Also IIRC AOD makes you jump most of those same hoops for their 3% card.
Wow, that’s a lot of information that Disco requested . . . my concern is whether recipients will share the gathered information with other business partners. Consider, Equifax's data breach and I read somewhere they were the ones handling the tax documents for Disco . . . I will certainly pass on giving all that information.

I agree I feel the same, this isn't an application process, this is so beyond intrusive for a darn credit card.
Exactly . . .
@coldfusion Thank you for posting, "intrusive" is the exact word I was thinking of.
Lol @coldfusion . #thatpart.

I was just approved for this card about 5 days ago and they did not ask for anywhere near that much information. The interest rate is a little high but so far I love the account. I'm still waiting on my card to arrive in the mail, but I have already taken out a 3K line of credit from their website.
I was approved for one and so was my daughter. They didn't ask me for anything, they asked her for a voided check. That was it for either of us.
I was floored to have gotten this card so soon after BK7 discharge, let alone that they did not ask me for any supporting docs or even interview me on the phone. Seems like the hard inquiry didn't happen for about a week and a half, right before they shipped the card. I was given a credit line of $10k.
Thanks much for the information, I decided to not to go with it after this...
