What was you AAOA when approved or denied? Also what was your oldest cards age?

AAoA: 11 years

Median Fico: 615 at time of application.

Oldest Card: I had a Capital One platinum since June 2011 during BK (see below) with positive history, converted from Orchard.

Discharged from chapter 13 4 weeks prior to application.  Capital One IIB.  Approved for 30K Venture.  I love Capital One for the second chance and use the Venture as my daily card now.  I am putting $3K+ a month through it and love the "miles" earned.  You don't have to travel a lot to make the card worthwhile like some say.  It doesn't take much in travel costs to redeem those points and it's so easy with the purchase eraser!  Good luck if applying!

Approved Venture-15k Aaoa was 3.5 years, total credit history 14 years.

You give me hope... Was your score really 615? 08 or 04 fico?

My DW applied COLD and was approved for 5K. her AAOA is approx. 2 yrs. Only other cards she has is Cap1 Plat and QS1. Her TU Score was 678. They sent her score with the welcome kit.

people with very low scores getting venture are because their internal score with cap1 is good. i wouldn't recommend going for it if you're sub 670 (even though approvals happen, it's not as common) YMMV
