Virgin America pop up?

I was browsing flights on VA when I got the pop up pre-approval for their Visa Signature. I thought why not give it a shot, so I did. When I clicked the "Submit" button, it just did it's little loading dance for about 10 minutes. Nothing happened...so I'm not exactly sure if anything happened at all. What should I do here? I recieved no emails, and eventually just closed the page. Is there any way I could find out if it went through on their website or should I just call them?

That happened to me several times and it never fully submitted. I tried a few days later with the same results. I took it as a sign that it wasn't meant to be

Had same issue..  so decided to apply through non pop-up method and got approved that way..  Either way you most likely will get a HP.. What is your EQ score?

I had same thing happened to me with Modells pop up... and  nohing happened and when i tried again no pop up popped, and my credit card field at checkout was pre filled with the account number, which i tried to pay with and always got error... and long story shot did not reach no where... and I gave up.

My scores are all just above 700. I ended up apping the natural way since I kinda wanted the card anyway. When I got the popup it said I was pre approved for the Visa Signature, but when I apped I only got the platnium I know it doesn't mean much, but you guys understand! $2500 SL. Should I call and ask if they can change it or just wait and see if I get upgraded down the line?

Forgot to mention...not worried about a HP as I currently have a ton anyway from a recent small spree and an auto loan back in March.

If you are not sure because of a browser issue, you could try siging up for online access for the Virgin America account here:

If you were approved, the account access signuo will allow you to sign in. You only need your SS# and ZIP.

doubt you can do anything about the initial CL..  One thing about most commenity Visa/Mc's every 4 months + 1 day you can request it online and it will be a SP CLI.  Calling in about initial limit will yield no reseult.  So you should be able to get 3 CLI's in a year period of time.  Approvals always better than denial.  Althouh I do understand the disappointment.. I have a Total Rewards tat started out with 8k CL and was just a platinum as well, this time around got the signature and middle tier apr.  Not sure why it was different.

I didn't have score like you but when I apped (cold no SCT or anything) just based on the flyers I was getting to app for VX card, I got 2500 limit. I had to wait 6 months (which is today) before I got any CLI. Even then they asked if I wanted a specific number and from I read earlier I said no and it came back with 2.5K more. I asked CSR how before I can try again and she said wait for 2-3 months and call in for this CLI request again instead of trying online or robo lady.

So I plan to call in in Jan and see if I can get it upto 10K. I use this card extensively as I fly VX all the times and their points are valuable than other cards I have. Also if you were approved for platinum, there is nothing you or they can do. I asked if I can be upgraded and they said that the app is tried for VS but if its not approved as VS card then you are stuck with that kind of card till you decide to re-app again. And I don't care much about it at this point.

So after the 6th statement cuts then you can get a CLI? 5th statement just cut so I guess I got another statement to go. Sitting on a 4k starting limit.
