I could never get the sct for this card, but cold apped with my elevate number over the weekend and was instantly approved for 4k, platinum.. i too wish signature but ohh well.
same with total rewards, it says visa signature, but underneath in small letter or on the terms i opened, it says or visa platinum, so those are just marketing talk but either way its still a good approval and u got the card!
i know from what others have said you can call down the road with total rewards to see if you qualify for a signature upgrade, i wonder if that can happen with virgin america?
Unfortunately Virgin America Visa can't be converted to Visa Signature. I have called and asked few times and they have always said no. So unless its different with trying it with supervisors I don't believe so.
As for one mentioning that I may have taken HP, I haven't seen anything on my reports so far but then again CB hasn't sent in updated limit either. So here's me hoping it wasn't a HP.
Yea, I'm pretty happy to have the card and it looks really nice in my wallet. I didn't know you could upgrade TR to signature, so that's good to know. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to upgrade Virgin...I'll have to ask a buddy of mine if he has any info about how sig upgrades work, he used to work for some card companies in the past.
