Two years ago at the very beginning of my rebuilding I applied for their Visa card... and was promptly denied. If they had offered me the secured version at that time, I would have taken it.
At the time I was disappointed, but now I'm honestly glad it all worked out the way it did. Ironically, on the blue-moon occasions I have to call them for something, the CSR always mentions that I should apply for their Visa card and offers to transfer me... I quickly and cheerfully decline.
Sorry that didn't work out for you. I am on their blacklist so no WF card for me, probably ever.

Sorry to hear OP. I've always had to take a HP to increase my WF card. i didn't mind myself as I went from $2,500 to $37,500 in about 15 months.

lol a $37,500 WF card is hefty
Hefty indeed, but they won't change it to a Signature version. Still a Visa Platinum. Also, I have a 25.99% APR so needless to say, no carrying of balances on that card
