WF Propel Approval Odds

Experian 675
TU 697
Equifax 683

CK 664 (TU) / 657 (EQFX)

Currently have Cap1 QS(1750)/SavorOne(2500), Uber Visa (2900), DiscoverIt (1400), Chase Freedom (3600). Last approval was Chase Freedom ~4 months ago, and Uber Visa around 10 months ago.

3 years AAoA, 10 years for the oldest, 4/24

With Uber nixing their card I am looking to add another card. I want the Propel but idk if my credit is good enough for it. I was denied for Uber Visa at first too, and had to call recon and plead my case. Income 80-85k. Credit is bad because I broke my wrist in 2013 without insurance and have ~30k in collections because of that. Haven't missed one credit card/car/student loan payment in the last 5+ years.

Do I have any shot with WF Propel? Or perhaps Amex Blue Cash Everyday/Preferred?

Re: WF Propel Approval Odds

Your scores are fine for them. They don’t have pre approval on their site so it’d be a cold app.
I’m in your range and I received a pre approved mailer two months ago. I never applied.

My auto loan is through them so that may be some of it.

Re: WF Propel Approval Odds

Yeah thats what I keep reading. I've been meaning to join WF for the 400$ bonus they have going on right now. So maybe I'll switch my bank account and try for Propel in Feb when Uber finally gets the axe.

It seems like quite a few people have been approved (even cold apps) with high 600s scores, so hopefully with a bit of a relationship with the bank I'll have a better shot.
