So what would you do? My signature is current and the 2 Chase cards have not shown up on my CR yet. I would like to diversify some more and get my foot in the door with CapOne and get a Savor or Venture card and the other in about six or so months. The 3 pull is not an issue to me, just curious if waiting so that the $7900 limits show will make a difference (help/hurt) or if it's better to apply while the credit file is thinner? Also, it seems with CapOne that they will usually wait a month or two also to report, which in theory, should help with having new accounts with Chase for now.
Also on the Chase website, it states my due date is on July 14 and 15 respectively. I don't know if that has anything to do with hinting when they will report to the bureaus. Thoughts anyone...
Cards Reporting: WM $1000, BCE $2000, Disco $8000
Cards not reporting yet: Disney $7900 CF $7900
Why do you want Cap1? If you're looking for growth they're not the place to be.

Showing another card on your CR may hurt your chances of approval. These changes Cap One is making in respect to approvals are fairly new, so no one is really sure what their cut off is. If you're not worried about the HPs, go for it, especially if you have prequal (not that one is necessary for the approval).
Yes, those are dates after which Chase will report. For me, it's the day after statement closes.
My only worry would be four new accounts in under 6 months, but that has been covered extensively in other threads, so no need to bog this one with it
Good luck and fingers crossed!
Thanks for the response and information Remedios. That being the case, I believe I will wait until the begining of July to apply.
You're welcome
One thing to keep in mind is that I tend to be overly cautions, so my responses are typically geared that way. Takes me 30 min to cross the street 😐
Other people may chime in with different suggestions, which will be just as valid.
What it sounds like to me is Capital One wise, you're better off applying before new accounts show on CR.
Chase wise, you're better waiting 3-4 months, seeing how you were just approved for three of their cards.
I hope to see an approval thread from you either way
Two Chase cards, but yeah, I get your point about it... which is why if i'm gonna apply, I am thinking to wait until just after July starts and before they show up on my report. Also there would be the (hopefully) added fact that CapOne will take their sweet time also to report and that would buy me another couple of months... fingers crossed!!!
That's good to hear also... unfortunately no prequal yet, because it asks if I may have opted out. A weeks and a half ago, I opted back in and am waiting for whatever happens to update so maybe I can get a prequal. I read that it could take a couple weeks to a couple months...

Their prime cards grow with use. Op is looking at Cap1 primes. Not starters.
