Re: Wal-Mart Pushing Credit Card apps now

omg they don't get your personal info all they see is your license number and date of birth they don't get your social or income or anything!!! You're blowing it way out of proportion and I'm pretty sure they don't need your empathy you people on here are kinda ridiculous thinking because you "make a lot of money" or have good credit that you're better than everyone my family is extremely wealthy and we don't treat people like this. We have respect for everyone no matter what the situation. Only people trying to brag or impress act like this.

The walmart card does have some good in store perks of  no interest financing. I know there are a lot of store card haters but not everyone has constant 0% checks in the drawer to attack a large purchase at a moment's notice. Continuing to enjoy my lowe's overstock,  paypal, and WM.

Getting slightly off-topic, but paypal credit is by far my favorite. Not only is it 0% AND no payment for x months, but it's a hidden tradeline.

"You people" is never a good way to start a conversation. Perhaps it would help if you understood the meaning of "empathy", Psychology today has a pretty good one:

Empathy is the experience of understanding another person's condition from their perspective. You place yourself in their shoes and feel what they are feeling. Empathy is known to increase prosocial (helping) behaviors.

They're right about empathy increasing prosocial behaviors - I'm semi retired, work 3 days a week and spend a minimum of 2 days being very involved in our local community foodbank, helping distribute food on Mondays and Wed or Fri mornings driving 1 hour each way to collect food donations from our donors and supporters.I love it, especially helping distribute food and seeing the smiles on their faces.

I think you misuderstood my post, and would appreciate your not making rushed/rash judgement calls. Heart
