I've read stories of people getting CLi's on amazon/walmart before the usual 4 month automatic CLI (im about 2 months in)
I tried logging in and chatting with a rep, no go on either account, I don't really care about walmart, but amazon i'd love to get increased because i'd like to use 0%, but I refuse to 0% a $600 item, even if for 2-3 months on a card with a $800 limit.
I looked in the backdoor thread, I saw these numbers :
Synchrony: 866-519-6441 (Credit Analyst/Credit Solutions)
Credit Solutions 877-379-8173
I called the first one, but got a no go. All they asked for was income and requested amount, no disclaimer about credit, soft pulls, or anything. Is it worth calling the other number? are the departments different?

I've called the number on the back of the card before with Walmart, but haven't had any success. It did not result in a HP for me, but YMMV. Strange things seemed to be happening recently, so can't say for sure wouldn't be a HP, but most times it isn't. I didn't see any movement on Walmart till my 3rd statement, then I got an auto increase. After that the chat feature has worked for me. 3-4 months between CLIs seem to be the pattern with Walmart and Amazon. Now with Amazon, I was able to get an increase in the 2nd month and 3rd month. However, I haven't been successful this month, so I'll wait till September and try again. Sometimes, it is just a matter of timing and I am now keeping a spreadsheet of when I get increases to see if Synchrony has a pattern like Comenity. Also, my increases with Amazon have come through chat. I'm finding that as pointed out in the forum, Lowe's and Sam's Club tend to give out the best increases, although I've seen others who have had success with TJX and JCP. Good luck.
I got a CLI on Walmart/Amazon about 2 months ago. Recently tried for another on the Walmart card about 2 months after the CLI and I got a letter stating insufficient experience with current credit limit. So maybe at the 90/120 day mark you'd be eligible but definitely not 60 +/-. But your mileage may vary and these forums have proven known information wrong all the time. Good luck!
