I was on the forums and read the forums about requesting credit limit increases from synchrony products. I used the chat function on both there have been no significant changes in my credit, so I requested the increase and I was denied. I'm wondering why this is but I think I have an idea.

Not to be rude or anything Smoop....
But you posted in Approvals. This isnt an approval post, and next time needs to be posted in CC's or apps section on the forums.
Sorry you got denied, hang in there! I didnt get CLI on my Synch cards for awhile...youll get them eventually.
I didn't get my first Walmart CLI until I had the card for 9 months, and now it seems I can get a little love from the love button every 4 months. With my Amazon store card I asked for a CLI via the love button right after I got the card, and it was denied for not enough experience with current limit. Then about 3 months later they gave me a small auto CLI. After that I was only able to get small CLI every 4 months through the love button, and after a year I asked via chat and got a larger increase. So my advice is if they are new cards it's better to wait 4 months (6 months is better) after you're approved before asking for a CLI, so they can see how you handle their cards. I know some people have success right out the gate asking for CLI either through chat or by calling, but I didn't. I was new to credit (Walmart was my first card after rebuilding) so for me I had to build a history with them before I started seeing CLIs.
I see that your Amazon CL is 800 but don't see Walmart. I'm going to guess that it's probably at 600? While your TU score in the 630 range will get you the initial approval on these cards it's going to take either some time and established payment history to get a CLI on the accounts or a jump in your score to do it. DGF got both of those cards at about the same score with a couple months under her belt neither has budged via LUV button, chat or calling Credit Solutions.
