Actually, the other card I wanted was Amazon and was turned down last year as well. Here's hoping to getting it. I don't know the CL yet, but hoping since most other accounts are around $1k, it will be at least $500.
Amazon Store Card or Chase Visa? The Chase version, for some odd reason, has ridiculously high UW requirements. It seems to be harder to get than the Freedom.

UPDATE ---- I figured I would go for it, it's one of 2 cards I would really like to have because I shop there. I was approved!!!! I don't know the CL yet, it just said I would get the card in 10 days.
Thanks all.. fingers crossed. GARDEN FOR SURE!!!

Congrats to you! Nothing like getting something you want right. Everyone's goals and credit situations are different but if it's a win for you the great
Take the chance. You probably will get a small limit, but it grows quicky with use.
I am in and got approved. Hoping for the best. $600 limit, i'll take it.
Congrats. You will get your first CLI 4 months or sooner.
I got the same letter in the mail as well. I got the Amazon Store Card only got $400, applied for a CLI and got denied. I accepted the Walmart card offer and got approved. Don't know the CL as it didn't say only that my card will arrive within 10 days. I wonder what the CL is.
I figured I got the offer because Amazon is through Synchrony as well. Who knows. I guess I know more in 10 days.
If you call the phone number for Walmart Credit Customer Service (on their website) and you put in the last 4 of your SSN and zip code it will tell you what your credit line is.
I am going to wait before I try for Amazon, I am in no rush to get another hard pull on my credit report. Plus if I build this up for 6 mos, I might have an easier chance of getting the Amazon card.
Thanks... Good luck!!!
