Walmart another App

Hey everyone! Was wondering how often does Walmart offer to upgrade to MasterCard? I sent a message and asked and they said they can't convert to MasterCard from store card, that I would have to re apply online or in store. I don't want to reapply and not get a MasterCard but only to get another store card! Any advice? Thanks!!

The Walmart MasterCard is not really a big deal. try for the Sam's Club credit card and if you get the MasterCard, awesome. It can be used at Walmart.

If you don't have a membership to Sams Club and carry American Express already use the amex offer to gain membership for 20 bucks.

I would not try for a second Walmart card unless I had the original store card for at least a year in your credit scores have shown a significant gain

Its hit and miss, in the 4+ years I have had the WM store card I have never been offered an upgrade and if I were now I would decline as I am not interested in a new TL for this card.

i opened my WM card last november and was approved for the store card with a 300 CL only NOT the MC,  so a year later my account CL is now $10k but have not been offered a MC. I also called and asked when and or if they even upgrade the store card for the mc and they said, synchrony randomly reviews accounts and sometimes do extend an offer to convert the store card to MC, but no say when or how they do this.

Well if you have a 10k on the Walmart card I would go balls to the wall @ Sam's Club and hope to score MC. A 710+ seems to be in agreement who gets them
