No I didn't. On friday I will pay down my current accounts to around a ~12-15% utilization. Then I plan on applying. If you think I can secure a lower interest rate by paying down the cards further, I may do that as well.
So you think I should just apply tonight/tomorrow?

If Amazon Visa and QS Visa are what you want. Keep it 2 those two cards. Don't do what most of us do, app for everything and then not have options down the road.
Good luck.
Could you elaborate on not having options down the road?

LOL. This makes me giggle everytime. I get it tho!
Anyway..OP.... whats the fuss over the chase amazon? is that the best fitting chase card for you to get in the door with chase or something? Cuz 80 bucks aint really worth it to get it.... 3 percent back on amazon and 2 percent on gas/RX/restaurants..... now if it was 3 amazon then 2 everything else...sure that would be super sweet!
If ya spend enough at amazon, get the store card. If not, wait for a category spend card to use.... unless ur in some amazon fresh market and need it for food not covered by amazon prime store card.
You have discover and Amex everyday. Use the discover for double cash back at amazon. Lets find better use of potentially 5 inquiries (3 for capital one and up to two for chase). What other prequal sites have you checked here? How do you spend your money?
Good point. I use amazon somewhat frequently, but really I was interested in the Chase card due to the $80. What cards do you think I should consider? I don't spend much on gas, I spend a rather significant amount on restaurants/entertainment. Really, I figured I'd just increase my total credit - If I'm going to apply for the Quicksilver I'd like to apply for one or more other cards to limit the hard pulls to this time peroid,

Well, if you can afford any of the minimum spends on the various signup bonuses..... you would get far more than $80. Have you checked the prequal sites for Chase, Capital 1, Citi, Amex, Etc? Under terms it should say a specific APR.
