I have 40k usage and 124k total. 740 FIco
I want 200k
waiting for CLI on Amex
Been in Garden for over a year 1 hp on Exp 2 Hp on TU
Need HIGH limit Cards
You have $40k in CC debt now on $124k in credit lines? That's over 30% aggregate utilization, so applying for more credit probably isn't a smart move.
Could you pay off that $40k tomorrow if you wanted to? $40k IMO is a lot of CC debt. I have no clue what your income is, but if it's in the range of an average American salary I would say $40k in CC debt is significant. My advice would be to pay your balances off before considering apping for anything else, much less a spree.
You actually want to get to $445,000 in credit to get your utilization down to 9%. (kidding)
Rather than go for more credit card limits, have you looked into a personal loan? Even though you will have the same amount of debt, FICO will score a personal loan differently from credit card debt and your scores should see a good bump.
I recommend that you begin to budget if you do not already. Not creating new debt and paying off the current debt is the best option.
It's difficult to determine if OP means they have 40k/yr in usage or a balance of 40k.
Besides high limits, is there something else you're looking for, such as better cash back, BT offers, travel cards etc?

I can only see this being a balance. Any time I see a single sentence with a number followed by total credit limits, usually the number before the total credit limits are current balances.
OP, you never said why you want more cards with higher limits and/or why you are gunning for $200k in credit lines. Is there a reason behind this?
400k gross a year business
25k to 60k a year in usage
Is there anything else you're looking for besides high SL? Are you wanting personal or business cards?
I just want to see what I can get. I can payoff 28k almost immediately if wanted. Trying for 2nd Home Mortgage and a Refinance. Have 2 businesses too.
