When I was in Max-Out Purgatory, the Amazon Store Card had the highest minimum payment! I had about a $4,000 balance, and had a higher minimum payment than the card (Barclay's Upromise), where I had an $8,800 balance.
Make sure you pay your balances every month on this card.
Use the deferred interest offers if you can't pay a larger charge in full. It makes no sense to use any store card to carry a balance that isn't on a promo. The fact you can do deferred interest and easy pay is a huge benefit of the Amazon card.
