I have been waiting to hear from city all week and just recieved the email. After using the password they gave me to see my letter it says I was denied for new open revolving accounts. I did have a spree... I can't lie🤷🏻♀️. Theirs is the only unsuccessful story for me this time. I wanted to recon and give them a reason I wanted the card but I've never called an EO. Can someone share that number and maybe their experience? The letter is signed Manager Credit Review with a phone number... would I call that instead??
Unfortunately, they'll be unlikely to budge given the reasons why they declined the application. You're welcome to try, though.
So I would get the number for and call the EO, or call the number listed on the letter signed review manager?
I've checked and can't find the thread. Can someone please give me the EO number for Citi/Wayfair?!
Sucks cause I'd close 5 for just the wayfair MC. I'm gunna have to stop reaching for the bottom cards lol. I've done well in the past few years but get nervous with bigger cards and apply for silly ones. I think when I decide to try again I'll start reaching higher and have a little faith in myself. Thanks for all your help with everything.

My advice would be to continue and aspire for CCs or products that would be of great benefit to you in the long term. It's ok to be nervous with the big ones, but by and large, we have a great community here that can help you reach those goals, just don't reach for the bottom of the well . You've come a long way and different doors will open over time. Just be patient with yourself and your journey.
As an aside, even if you had reached out to the Citi Retail EO, all they would do is refer the case back to UW (you wouldn't be able to speak with them) and more than likely the decision would've been the same.
