Thank you @Brian_Earl_Spilner. I've played around with the "Check Spending Limit" feature for each of my 5 AMEX cards and was approved for $500 over the "limit" for each of them. However, for my Gold Card...I do see a new "Available To Spend" amount under my total balance. I've carried over a small balance on this card (paying only the minimum amount due) since August soooo....based on your feedback, this may be the reason why my revolvers are blocked from a CLI. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. 
@caramel25 ...Thank you so much for your reply! Yep....I think we've identified the issue with my revolvers as I allowed a small balance to carry over on my Gold Card since August. Sooooo, even though I paid the minimum amount (more on a couple of occasions) due and was never late...my Gold Card is now restricted to a certain limit. What a hard lesson learned! I see no reason to carry the revolvers anymore if AMEX will never allow them to grow. Time to pull some weeds from the "garden".

Glad to figure out the issue, sad about the hard limit on the gold. Good news is that eventually they'll remove it once you take care of whatever triggered it. It won't be right away, but eventually they will.
@notmyname... Thank you so much for your advice. I have to admit that I am still learning this credit game and appreciate all of the advice from "experienced gardeners" on this site. A goal of 760 score across the board....activated!
So "Available To Spend" replaced the "No Preset Spending Limit" message?
Just thinking something like that might show for a POTL also.
@Times ....No response/follow-up from AMEX yet. But, thanks to the awesome contributors on this site, I have a better understanding of what's going on. I've PIF'd all 5 of my AMEX cards and they are all nestled comfortably in my sock drawer.
