Active card and Reflect card are same card, or they are two different cards? If so, which one is better, and which one get to have a higher credit on average? How many total number of CC one could have with WF? I already hv 3 cc from WF, do u think there is more room for me to get squeeze with one more of their cards?

Well, Active Cash is 2% back and Reflect is 0% APR for 18 months and if you pay on time it turns to 21 months. It can also offer lower APRs if you're credit allows. I went with the Reflect because it's the best balance transfer card on the market, I'm excited to have it. But now I want the Active Cash one as well. Trying to see if I could be approved for it since I literally just did the Reflect card last week.

How much cl u got? Is there a bt fee on reflect card? What was ur income and score? Tnx

I was surprised by the CL I got, $4K.. which for me is good. Especially considering I went through a debt consolidation back in 2018. My score isn't very good, it's between 640-690 depending on the bureau. I'm in the process of rebuilding (used to be over 800 before a hardship in 2017-2018).

Balance transfer is $5 or 3% of the amount of each balance transfer, whichever is greater, for 120 days from account opening. After that, up to 5% for each balance transfer, with a minimum of  $5.

But then 0% APR on that transfer for up to 21 months, that's top notch.

@KanesInferno I am assuming you recently received the approval, is so congrats to you.

What really want to express is that BT promo for 21 months is excellent!  👌

I have read that there are a few other member looking for BT promos beyond 15

months.

Yep, just got it last week and I'm excited!

Yeah, I did research before applying and I personally found it to be the best BT card around. I honestly didn't expect to be approved, much less for that CL.

Questions for those with experiences with WF for the Active Cash and Reflect cards.

I recently got approved for the Reflect card (waiting on it in the mail). I do also want the Active Cash, how long should I wait before applying for that card as well? I'm not wanting to waste a hard pull if it'll just result in a denial since I got just approved for that card.

Also, if I apply too soon I'm assuming I won't get the SUB for the Active Cash card since I got the promo period of 0% APR for the Reflect card?

Any help is appreciated.

I just saw this, and I'm surprised no one has reponded yet to your question about the SUB.

Here's what WF says on their T&C page for the Reflect:

You may not be eligible for introductory annual percentage rates, fees, and/or bonus rewards offers if you opened a Wells Fargo Credit Card within the last 15 months from the date of this application and you received introductory APR(s), fees, and/or bonus rewards offers - even if that account is closed and has a $0 balance.

So it looks like the answer is that you probably wouldn't qualify for either the SUB or even the introductory 15 months of 0% APR for the Active Cash until 15 months has passed. After 15 months, you could sign up for Active Cash (or whatever other card WF is offering with a nice SUB) and get that SUB, while still enjoying 6 more months of 0% APR on your Reflect. Getting that additional 6 months of 0% on the Reflect would be worth it since you probably couldn't transfer any balance you might have on the card to another WF card.

For what it's worth, even though Reflect doesn't have a cash SUB, those additional 6 months of 0% APR could be worth a lot more than $200 for some people.

I like my Active Cash card, but it's not my favorite cash back card. Getting the bonus cash in my WF checking account can only be done in $25 increments, and using it to cover charges in lesser amounts is a clunky experience. I have a much easier time redeeming cash rewards on my Apple Card (which admittedly only gives 2% back for Apple Pay charges) and my Chase Amazon Prime card, which is currently paying me a minimum of 2% after I accepted a targeted promotion to become a Chase checking customer.

Thank you, the exact answer I needed.

Yeah, the 21 months of 0% APR is the reason I went with the reflect over the active cash. I'll be utilizing the balance transfer option for sure.

I'll likely just wait the 15 months and see if the AC or whatever cash back card they have at that time has a good SUB or not. For now I'm very pleased I got approved for the Reflect.
