I just apply for Wells fargo Attune at time with 760 score but the reason I got a decline you're not going to believe this low balance in your checking account ..
I'll definitely reconsider line later to see what happens...

@911gt34life That sucks, sorry to hear that!
There are some DPs here from a recent approval that might help out: https://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Credit-Card-Approvals/Wells-Fargo-Attune-Approval/td-p/6767129

Those ba$tards! I didn't have much in my account when they approved active cash.

I did call three times for reconsideration but didn't work I went ahead and closed the chicken account..

Ironically, by closing that smallish account, you may have increased your odds the next time you apply @911gt34life !
I remember a thread where the OP inquired if closing the WF DDA would help as was giving the same denial verbiage; I had replied 'no' but I was wrong. Apparently, the OP got a WF approval not too long after the DDA closure. (Hoping someone here track down this thread from ? about 2 years ago...)
So sorry to hear about your denial! Best wishes to you if you should decide to apply again in the future!

Thats crazy. I was also around 750/760, they pulled Transunion for me. Gave me $4500 CL, one of the highest I've seen posted. My personal checking account initially had $500, and i opened it about 5 months before I was going to apply for Attune. The same month I deposited $5000, and withdrew $1000 every month until December, when I finally applied. I had $500 at the time I applied.
You'll never get this though, I just applied for a Wells Fargo Business Checking, and got rejected. I called their hotline, couldnt tell me why. and said I would get a letter and nothing received so far. I hate how our govt allowed these massive corporations that are necessities to simply get away with not being accountable. How hard is it to say why you rejected someone?

Thanks to @AndySoCal, this is my referenced thread:
Some banks will use the checking account to see how well a consumer manages their money. Wells Fargo is one who does. There valid reasons for having more than one checking account. The reason for checking the checking account is to see how well a consumer manages their finances. A checking account that has little or no usage is doing you no favors. When I establish a new banking relationship it is with a savings account. I have several credit card only relationships only. If you want the checking account to help make it your primary checking account.
