One part of me kept saying, "DON'T DO IT!" but I just couldn't help myself!!
I app'd for the US Bank Cash+. Unsurprisingly, I received the 7-10 days message, stating my the application is subject to further review. So what's my next step? Do I call in immediatlely or do I wait a day or two?
I see others have had luck in the past with reconning, so hoping maybe I have the same fortune, but wasn't sure what my best route to take would be.

I believe that is pretty standard for US Bank. I would call them for sure, which I'm sure I did the same thing when I got that message.

Do you know what number you called? I'm seeing several different ones on the Backdoor #'s Sticky, so I'm not sure which one is appropriate.
US Bank manually reviews 99% of all applications. I would give it 4 or 5 days. Status number is 1-800-947-1444 option 1. Good Luck!

Thanks for the info! Guess I will wait it out a bit then. I figured this was par for the course with US Bank.

It does not hurt to inquire . Had the same situation today with my business app. I thought I was denied due to an email stating they could not approve me and a letter I'll receive 7-10 days I called and reasons I had my Credit report unlocked and they only want me to unlock my credit report. Do you know if they pulled you credit report already ? If so what credit report they pulled ? I'm curious because they wanted all three unlocked I only unlocked my TU . Was told there reason why all had to be open because the system choices . I guess the system in me didn't chose TU .
No, I'm not yet sure which CR they pulled. I'll probably find that out in a day or two I'm guessing. I'm hoping it's TU. And thanks, I shall follow that advice.

They pulled Equifax for me.
