Hey Guys. Currently looking for some cards with higher limits. I just joined NFCU I see they have a lot of great reviews on here.. I recently got rid of -
CITI double cash SL of 500
First Premier 700
Target 900
indigo 300
they haven't reflected on my report yet.
Uploaded a picture of my current EX Profile. Scores are all 730+ across the boards with one late payment with Santander years ago that wasn't actually late because I sold the car... 4-5 inq's 6 months ago. But based on what you see, what cards do you think I would have a chance at applying for? I also have a S-Corp that has no tax returns or credit cards, but money has flowed through in the past of over 50K... Are there any biz cards that would be easy to get?
Is there a reason you got rid of the Citi card? Certainly I understand dropping Indigo and FP, but Citi is generally viewed as a good lender.
As for what cards you can be approved for, your file looks pretty good, so you should be good to go for most cards. It just depends on what you want to accomplish/what kinds of cards you're looking for.
You are probably good to go.
You could check American Express and Discover online Prequalify page?
These could be drawbacks?
Chase 5/24
US Bank 1/12

FIFY
I know I kind of regret getting rid of citi;
I have
DISCOVER IT - 8K
two credit ones 800 on both (I would get rid of these but I've had them forever...)
Merrick - 1400
Capitol one - 1000
and a few other AU's all 0% UTI. I'm just looking for solid cards with big limits.
I applied for Amex and was denied not sure why, it said because of inquiries but I barely have any.

9 inquiries isn't a massive amount but for a thin new or dirty file it isn't considered as being barely any either. 2 things that would catch their eye would be the amount of installment debt you're carrying and the low limits on most of your current cards.
You can try BB&T and see if you are pre approvals with them, I think they are a SP approval still, mine was on Apr 2020. Good luck.
im in NY. BB&T doesnt offer for me sadly.
