Re: What'd ya get in the mail today?

Yeah i got the Cash Rewards when I finally got TU clean (first of all 3 reports) and was ecstatic at actually being approved for a World MC rewards card after not having unsecured credit for quite a long time.

Now it just collects lint in the SD.  I've even moved my Netflix account off of it that was just putting a charge on it monthly.

Me too and I have the stupid card. I think Citi spends a LOT of money on paper since I get more from them than any other CC company. It's funny because I don't use them AT ALL, but I guess that might change with the double cash, now.

Re: What'd ya get in the mail today?

Merrick Bank Double Your Line Visa offer.

No Annual Fee, no Account Set-Up fee, no Monthly Service fee, no Penalty Rates, no Over Limit Fee, No cost Monthly FICO score.

$700 approved credit line, doubles to $1,400 automatically by making at least the minimum monthly payment on time for the first 7 months account is open.

Expires 11/5 which is about 5 months into my Barclay's history, so may pull the trigger just before then.  Interest rate is 25.45% but I always PIF so not concerned.  Probably just have it as a rebuilder then SD it.

It's a pretty good offer! This is the type of offer I wished I had received when I was first starting out! Maybe my sister can get this offer after she closes her Merrick that she has now.
