What are the dos' and don't asking for cli?
being patient and wait atleast 6months of opening the card for best results. unless you plan on putting some serious spend thru a card dont request any till the 6month period if your file is (thin) seeking credit behavior at a early stage wont get you nothing but denials

This. While there may be best practices in general, every lender treats CLI differently.
It mainly with Citi & Sync. Citi always to me does not want to give a high limit. As well with Sync. I pay more than than min. I always pay on time. Old Navy(Sync) is still at $200. Home Deport (Citi) is still at $500. Both have them over a year. My TU is 700. EX & EQ 682. I just don't understand.

Depending on your file, Sync should be opening up soon. I had my paypal credit line for a while before sync took over. About 7 months after them taking over my CLI was granted, and I app'd for the PPMC and was given a SL that was almost twice anything I had been given before. I'm not sure how the Old Navy card is. But since it is a store card, you may have mixed results.
Citi still won't let me in
Are those your only cards? Store cards are treated differently usually. What about picking up a bank card if you don't already have one?
I have many cards. Some I keep for the history. Some I use them twice a year. Give me some pointers on to be sucessful on getting a cli. Even now when we are near a slow period of time & virus. Thank you.
Depends on the card you are asking for.
If it's a SP I will just smash the button.
Cap1 is an approved CLI every 180 days per card.
Synch you should wait at least 90 from opening, but every up to every 30 days after.
Amex after 61 days of opening, 91 day from a denial, and 180 days per approval on the account even if you have mutliple cards.
WF you can call for a SP CLI but they could ask if you want a HP
Discover has no reason to when, but they told me through a call into a CSR, once every 30 days for approvals
Most like to see use of the current limit, and like to see it paid down before asking, at least in my experience so far.
What about Chase, Citi, Comendy (sp), US Bank, etc?
