Ok, I called the backdoor credit analyst number last week & asked for a cli. I asked what report they wanted, I unfroze it, gave them the ok to move forward, & I was approved for a 2x cli (6,500 to 13,000). This was Thursday 1/18.
Analyst said I'd see my account update within 24 hours...inquiry popped up a few hours after approval. One busy weekend, not thinking about it much, log in this morning & I'm still sitting at 6500. Called the analyst number back & was told CLI was approved but could take 7-14 days to see it.
Is this normal? I'm not in any need of the line but this seems odd for a CLI.

Hmm. My past CLIs with Chase usually appeared within 1-3 days. Not sure what this is about.
It likely triggered 2nd tier review which is likely the hold up before it's fully released and then reflect on your account. Although perhaps an odd occurrence, it's not uncommon.

Weird its taking that long.. I called couple of days ago for a CLI on my FU and was approved for $1500 and it posted instant.
Finally hit today...same day my statement cut. Oh well, just thought it weird. Also today got nearly a 2x auto cli (8900 to 16000) on my Discover IT. Not a bad way to end the week.
