For someone in my position, Cap1 Venture and QS are going to my goal "prime" cards to get with some nice starting limits in the next 9-12 months. I was helping some co-workers fix their credit and one of them had a 70+% UTIL, approved for $5k Venture and $3k QS. The other had 40+% UTIL approved for $10k Venture.
Can anyone share their own UTIL at time of approval?
11%
1% (9% on 1 card / 0% on the rest) - 15k Venture with average income. 690 EQ
16%
3% approved for 20K -- my 3rd card with Capital One- The other 2 were like 30 months old each. Fico was 705-737
Just approved last week $20,000- 7% UT/ scores mid 700's
Thanks for sharing, I thought their UTIL was really high for approval but I guess it is what it is.
Call it 20% when I got the Venture. $30k approval.
DGF's mom picked up a Venture 20k and Venture1 10k last night with about 30% overall UTIL but a couple of her cards at 80% or better UTIL. Her two current Cap1 cards a QS1 and Platinum were at 52% and 84%.
