When to App for another Amex

I was just approved end of January for my first Amex, when can I apply/hope to be approved for another?

If your score approves it. I was able to apply for 2 Amex (one credit one charge) within a week from each other but that was before I became a member here. I read doing two applications in the same day only gets you one hit. I got two

That really depends on each profile. How many new accounts in the past year? 2 years? Inq on EX, scores, etc.  Since  you are a member Amex usually approves with HP and if denied only SP but there have been exceptions.

I was able to get the delata in December and the BCP in February. YMMV

Do all Amex backdate to first card or is there a membership joined date cutoff?

I was thinking of waiting 6! Months but maybe not if it backdated to being open since first card was.

Doesn't matter since the backdate doesn't report to the CRA's.

thanks for elaborating What doesnt matter? whats the pro's of them backdating(if any?) if not to report to CRA for AAoA? Could you explain or anyone please? I thought that was the benefit

That WAS the benefit, but they stopped backdating on reports in March of last year. So now, the only thing that's backdating is your "Member Since" date on the card, but that's purely for aesthetics.
