My last CLI for the Bread Rewards Amex (formerly Comenity MC) was on May 26, 2023. This card just converted from the Comenity MC to an Amex card on 9/16/23. Everything is essentially the same on their website. Now there's a 2 month window to spend $750 to get $150 statement credit.
Past increases for this card have been as follows:
$1250 to $2000 - 5/1/21
$2000 to $3500 - 10/30/21
$3500 to $5000 - 4/30/22
$5000 to $7500 - 5/26/23
The last couple I requested. The first couple were auto-cli from Comenity.
I've seen posts that some Comenity CC have had hard pulls recently for CLI, but all of mine have been soft pull.
My plan was to wait until after the November statement posted, showing completion of the required spend of $750. Then hit the button for a potential CLI. That would be 6 months from the previous increase.
Any thoughts on current frequency of Comenity increases? Soft pull or hard? Affect of this switching to Amex?
Thanks

From reading recent posts for Bread(Comenity), it looks like the frequency for CLIs are at 6 months. Most recent requests appear to be a soft pull. Unless I see otherwise, I'll submit CLI in November.
Have had the card for 7 months and requested a cli last week. It was a soft pull and approved from 7.5k to 10k.
Every six months has worked for me so far.
Follow-up. I requested a CLI online. Approved for an additional $1500. $7500 to $9000.
Appears to be a soft pull. No sign of any inquiries yet. I called customer service before attempting the increase and the rep told me they could not tell for sure whether it would be a soft pull or hard pull. Based on recent CLI requests posted here, it looks like most have been a soft pull since a few hard pulls last October.
I had luck at 6 months, 6k - 8k = 2k cli.
Hey just out of curiosity what was your spending like on the card? Did you find that you had to spend quite a bit to facilitate the increases? Thanks
Sorry to put in I was just curious what's your spending like on the card? Do you feel you had to spend a lot on the card in order to get the increase? Thanks
How you doing? I just recently got approved for this card with a $6,000 credit limit. I see in this thread that everybody seems to be getting clis every 6 months approximately. What's your spending like on the card? You feel like you have to carry a balance? Are you paying it off before it posts? Thanks

Just a tip, to receive a quicker responses and to let others know to whom you are directing the question to hit the quote button before you post.
I used my cards and still do for under 25 percent of cl or less, I carry a balance most times but pay weeks ahead of due date and if I can't pif I pay 2 to 3 times the minimum payment due.
