Currently in the process of rebuilding, really want the Synchrony amazon card as I shop there a lot. Current F8 scores: 660-655. Currently have two credit card charge offs from 2017 but were paid in full in November 2021. Avg age is 7 months, oldest card is 1 year 2 mo. 2 INQ on EXP & TU, 3 on EQ. (1/6 & 1/12, 2/24). Don't want to waste a hard pull. I did a pre-qualify check for the Crate & Barrel Synchrony card and was declined and they pulled LexisNexis, I was confused as I thought they always pull TU.
Honestly, I don't think you're likely to get approved any time soon. However....I believe there's a secured version of the Amazon card. Would you consider that instead? If it has the same benefits, and it's a way to get your foot in the door, what do you think? I have the Amazon Prime Store Card and its cash back rate is awesome, 5% across the board for Amazon purchases. I can't speak to the secured card's benefits, but maybe you should check it out?

Unfortunately I think you've got to wait at least a year and keep working on your profile. Maybe add some low end starter cards. They're not going to like the two charge off's being fairly recent (2017) and esp since they just go paid off in 2021. I'm sure that's at leat part of why they denied the C&B card (which if Sync was going to let you in that should have been an easy approval with them) along with your credit profile being so short and new at 7 months average age.
