When to apply for amex again?

Recently I was approved for the delta blue card and did try to apply for amex green (wanted to apply for gold but the card wasnt listed at the time and platinum isnt worth getting right now) but I was denied after a couple of days, which was expected (inquiries which I expected but also saw something it listed about income reported on experian clarity so imma need to get a copy to find out what exactly is reported since I never heard of that CRA nor would income be reported to it unless other creditors been reporting income I reported to them) but luckily it wasnt a HP. I know I will have to wait another 30 days before applying for another charge card, which is fine.

I want to know when is usually the best time to apply for another amex card after becoming a amex first time card holder, whether it be a revolving or charge card? I plan to apply again at the end of janurary or beginning of feburary when the majority of the inquiries are atleast 1+ year (and most of the accounts I was approved for will be as well) so the inquiries wont have a huge hold on my score but instead of green will go for gold (if it will be listed when that time comes). I have been using the card and pretty much will hit the SUB sometime this week, but just dont want to push it with AMEX trying to apply for another card early but dont want to do it at the last minute when I plan on traveling abit next year (assuming things wont be as crazy as it was this year). Only going with them for the last card in hope of only getting a SP when I app again. Dont plan on applying for anything else after that (which will include creditors that do an HP for a requested CLI) probably until the middle of 2022 when inquiries fallen off and things have aged up more. Any DP will be much appreciated.

Did you misrepresent your income on this application, or with any other applications with other creditors and banks?

No I didnt. My only assumption is that nothing is reported, another creditor error when reporting income (if they ever did), or that the lowest income is reported from '12, which I doubt. I know reporting the wrong income can have a nasty effect and creditors can shut things down in a heart beat if its found out. I'm just curious as to what is reported on this CRA since its the first time I really heard about it since I thought clarity service was also experian but coming to find out its just a seperate & smaller CRA with different type of data.

I am also interested in the timing for new amex customers. I recently got the gold early this month.

also @silver_idle, once you do the pre-qual, those aren't the only three you may be qualified for. If you do the pre-qual and the suggestions pop up, go to the menu and click view all cards. The sliding menu will show all and clicking on each one will show if you are pre-qualified.

I had the same thing happen with 3 offers, and when I viewed all and selected the gold, it showed I was pre-qualified with the 75k SUB!
