Which CHASE & other Cards have a 5/24 Rule, Help?

Hello Everyone,

I am cleaning up a few things on my report and I expect a good jump in my scores by the end this month. I have 4 Inquiries in Experian, 3 in Equifax, and 4 in Transunion. I want to take advantage of my current low util this month of 17%, that will go down because I have a few CLI that have not posted as well as payments that will be posting soon.

On my wishlist I have the Chase United Airlines, Chase Freedom, Discover, and Navy Fed.

My question is which one should I go for first at the end of the month base on the 5 inquiries in 24 months requirement? Are all of these 5/24 sensitive?

All of my inquiries are from approx 5 months ago.

Thanks.

The 5/24 rule applies to Freedom, Freedom Unlimited, Slate, and CSP. There has been rumors that it will apply to cobranded (Southwest, United, etc) some time this year. Just for clarification, the rule does not refer to inquiries, it refers to 5 new accounts in 2 years.

Thanks so much for the clarification, now it makes more sense.  Now knowing this; I have two new cards both capital 1, however I have 4 sct comenity new cards since december and 1 fingerhut also sct.  Do you know if those store cards become part of the 5/25 equation, as only two of them are not retail cards? Are the new store cards part of this? thanks

Store cards count towards the 5/24 rule.

Then I might as well not apply and just wait two more years as it is not going to happen I guess with the Chase freedom.  How about Discover and Navy Fed Card, are those 5/25 sensitve as well? I am just asking so that I don't waste a hard pull if I will get decline come the end of the month.

5/24 is a Chase only policy.
