Which title

Helping a friend app for a BOA card and it asks for job title.  He is a physician assistant the only close choice is doctor which he is not but this most closely describes his position.......should he put doctor.?

Doctor is probably fine (or Nurse / RN). They have some random choices on the application (Cigarette Distributor) but nothing basic like Administrative Assistant/Secretary/Receptionist.

Not Listed is on the drop down.

Although a P.A. is an advanced study medical skill, as is an advanced nurse practitioner, I would NOT put down "Doctor".

People in medical n general tend to get better insurance rates how that translates to internal credit ratings with banks who knows. some applications are just medical field in general.

If he's not a doctor, don't put doctor.

He is not a doctor.  He should select what whatever is close to his job as possible.  What is on the list?

job title is least important... income, credit score, etc.

who cares... use professional if other is not good.
