Dee, if you don't mind me asking, what were your scores and on which card(s) did you get the low/high increases?

Sores are almost exactly where they are now, as this was only a few days ago. EQ is 643, TU is 661, EX is 648.

Heres my CLI thread from when it happened. You can see all the data points there:

Yea, me too and I was approved for both, selecting the Venture Card first and back through the pre-approval, then choosing the QS.  (pulled all 3 CRs once)

was the beginning of a great weekend!

Yes I believe that is the proper way to do it.  App for the harder card (Venture) first than the easier one (QS).  On another thread someone did the same with a Freedom/Slate, and apped for the easier one first and got denied on the second app for the harder one.

myFICO lesson #1 = App for the more desired and harder to get card first.

I actually think it's more about going back to the prequal site and apping through that portal. I apped for the QS first, waited about 10mins, went back to the prequal site and apped for V. Both were instant approvals.

Live and learn. I had the original prequal page open in a different tab, but ultimately it's ymmv?
Being that we've had similar scenarios with different conclusions.
Lesson of the week. .I shouldn't get so app happy when stepping out of the garden.
