I don't know why you would think that -- I hope no such thing.
I asked because I doubt closing all 5 cards was just a random thing & I had hoped to gleam, through a recounting of your experience, some steps to avoid in my own (newly restarted) BoA journey.
But in no way do I wish to point a finger at you.

I don't think it was totally random. I think it was connected to the facts that (a) they'd let my limits grow to a collective 105k and (b) due to economic forecasts they were looking for places to cut their exposure. I.e. had I not gone for the CLI's I might not have been on their radar.
In response to OP's question I do think getting CLI's from BOA could in some instances increase the likelihood of adverse action down the road.
