Working for that elusive 1st Target CLI...

Hey everyone,

I've had my Target card with initial $300 SL since 9/1/2016. Carried 90%+ Util up until March of this year and then 5 - 14% between April and now. I have only 1 30 day late in Dec 2017 when I switched bank accounts and didn't update my autopay and called and spoke to a supervisor once to see if they would remove, but no luck. Still no love from TD bank. Any suggestions?

Current: Gardening...

The late payment will definitely weigh heavily internally for a while.

My only suggestion is update your income online once a month and wait and see if that yields anything in the future. Potentially, if you have any other negative marks on your CRs then that will stall things for a bit.

Definitely update the income once a month (even if the income never changes ) and let a balance report then pay it off . My hubby has this card and has a late payment on it as well from 2015. I did the update income /let balance report earlier this year and went from 400 to 600, then 600 to 900 2 months later , then 900 to 1300 1 month later , and then in August 1300 to 5000 and got upgraded to the Mastercard as well. so once the cli trains gets going it CAn go pretty fast !! It took me 5 months to get to 5000.

I had a $300 SL on my Target Card, got an auto-increase to $500 after 2 months, and been stuck there ever since.
