X1 Unable to approve?!

FireShot Capture 261 - - x1creditcard.com.png

I honestly don't know why; I've attempted to use the "Bank Verify" method with "CapitalOne," which stated they couldn't verify income, which I've sent the bank account statements as requested. Then they asked for the two most recent pay stubs I provided. I don't know if they even looked at it or could not look at the PDF document. I have no idea... but I was hurt and shocked!? - I was looking forward to having it...

I don't know what they are looking for... do they want rich people? I'm confused... maybe this process will change in the future?

Re: X1 Unable to approve?!

They don't seem to like thin files. And they also seem to dislike incomes below 50k. I've heard stories of folks who were declined getting emails inviting them to re-apply, hopefully that'll be the case with both of us.

That was me. I got invited to reapply after being denied for income. The reapply email I received said it was an error on their end. For reference, my income is higher than $50k, FICO 834

Try calling them for a recon.

Customer service is very nice to deal with.

I think a lot has to do with the bank you link via Plaid.

When I first apped, my primary direct deposit bank account could not link due to 2FA security.

So I used a second account from my lower balance side business account - it got approved.

Had I got the higher bank account linked, I think the SL would have been higher.

Did you get a HP ?

Re: X1 Unable to approve?!

@4sallypat Don't think X1 has a number to contact, it's no where on their contact list on the site. The number in the pics is for credit bureaus not X1. Also, X1 doesn't so HP if you get denied. It's a SP and when it gets approved, you will eventually get a HP.

Re: X1 Unable to approve?!

Customer service is via text / SMS messaging: (650) 514-5504

You can also email them at: support@x1.co

Stand corrected, yes a HP only after acceptance.

Mine was a pure SP only after acceptance but that was because of the early beta preview invite.....

Re: X1 Unable to approve?!

"Thank you for contacting X1. If you're an X1 cardholder, a member of our team will be with your shortly. If you're not a X1 cardholder, please contact apply@x1.co". I don't think anybody can contact their support without being approved. E-mail is the best place to contact X1 if I'm not mistaken if you don't have a card. Also, nice X1 SP approval @4sallypat

Was there an HP for either app?
