X1 verification? Denial? Does this seem weird?

 Been waiting a short while for an invite, stumbled across one on Facebook late Friday.  Apped, and connected plaid to my WF bank accounts.  Income stated on the app should be within 1k either way of what I make this year.  Came back with "cannot verify, need 2 bank statements"  so, I emailed those.  Got an email saying my Email was received, and a team member will review asap.  Nothing from them since then, which I would attribute to being a weekend.  However, about 15-30 minutes after submitting my statements,  got a message from the person who supplied my code, saying "sorry, you were denied"  Isn't it odd/tacky that they would update her info before even reviewing my docs???

Reminds me of why they denied my application. 

"Couldn't verify sources of Income".

I had I initially applied a year or.so.before they sent me the link..I have no idea what I put on the app..and they wouldn't tell me...other then they couldn't verify the income amount.

I supplied a code to a family member, and like you they could not verify their income. They asked them to email bank statements, but on my X1 app it shows they were denied. 

I guess this will be overridden when they email their statements if X1 decides to approve.
