amex low limit

So I applied and got approved for the Delta Platinum Amex card with a low CL of 1k. It wasn't an automatic approval, took 10 hours. Anyways I have a Amex Hilton with 15k CL that I got a 3x Cli recently ( about 1 month ago). The Csr told me to request a cli when I activate the card. Is there a rule to how many cli you can have with amex within a certain time frame..???

Yes, you can request another CLI in 6 months.  Congrats on the approval though.

yes ive heard you need to wait and in 6 months do a cli on the want you want.

You guys are right...but I'm going to be the guinea pig and see if amex changed the rules....the worst thing I get denied and have to wait longer for the next cli.

Since you just got the Hilton CLI a month ago, it will be a no-go for trying to bump this one at activation: You will need to wait 5 months before either the Hilton or this new card get another CLI. And, you cannot move the Hilton CL to this card until that CL has aged 13 statements.
