I got Experian soft pull.

My boyfirend got a pre-approval, but wells fargo hard pulled him Transunion.

Yeah, I understand that. I found it interesting but I'm in the garden for a bit so apping or accepting any offers isn't in my arena for awhile.

I had a similar experience with Citizens. I went into a branch (pre-covid!) to apply for their limited time 5% cashback on everything card, and even though I had no relationship at all, I apparently had a preapproval and got the card with no HP.
