dcu credit card application

I recently applied for the dcu credit card I didn't get a instant approval but my app says under review. What are my chances of getting approved.

I have a unpaid collection with Midland and a closed charge off. They check EQ

I applied with DCU for a credit card and a car loan and they denied me.  I wrote a letter to their underwriting department and they contacted me and said the computer denied me but after a loan officer looked at the application they approved the car loan refinance at 2.49% and approved a VISA with a $5000 limit.
