Unfortunately OP you're going to have to wait 6 months and take the hard pull for a credit limit increase. USAA does not recon or negotiate lol.

The only recon I've seen from them is in the form of a counter offer for one of their secured cards (AMEX & M/C).  Had both of those before and closed them both since they were never gonna graduate to an unsecured card.  As much as I hate it, it looks like I may have to reapply for the secured card again just to get my foot back in the door with them for a cc, unless by some miracle way way way down the road, I get a pre-approval in the "My Offers" tab, but I doubt it.

And even when they HP for a CLI it's definitely not a sure thing---I've learned this twice already! Next time i'm just going to app for another card if I have to burn a HP with them.
