There was a similar topic/thread that ran recently on Discover limits, mine is $11,000 and I don't think I was in the top 10 listed.

Mine's $13.7k and as gdale just demonstrated, that's not among the highest.
It also took me nearly 20 years to get there, with some little bumps and a coupled of decent leaps, some auto-CLIs and some by request, so what you've heard about Discover being conservative is absolutely right.
Mine is at 14.5k. Started at $6,500 and was up to 14.5 within 6 months. Stalled at 14.5 due to all the available credit I do have.

Not sure if you were asking me but I've had the card since August 2013 and by February of 2014 I was at 14k.
Best friend has a 24k CL on his. Sure his income of close to 300k plays a role and 840+ Fico's
Mine's $20K but I've seen lots higher for sure.
Banks love old and stable credit profiles so I don't doubt there limit is that high
